Mariama Whalen – Employment Law Professional & Workforce Strategist

With nearly three decades of experience in the workforce, ranging from her early years in a call center to serving as an administrator in higher education and local government, Mariama Whalen has walked in the shoes of both employees and leaders. This lived experience, paired with her advanced education and certifications, allows her to bridge the gap between compliance and compassion, offering practical, people-centered workforce solutions.

Mariama holds a Master’s in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Civic Engagement and a Juris Master’s in American Legal Studies, along with specialized certifications in labor relations and arbitration. These credentials uniquely qualify her to analyze workplace issues through legal, organizational, and human-centered lenses.

As the founder of PCE WINS, Mariama partners with both employees and employers to build stronger, healthier, and more equitable workplaces. Her consultancy focuses on:

Hadiyah Taylor is a newly admitted Business Administration major with a growing passion for exploring careers, developing business acumen, and engaging with her community. Hadiyah brings a fresh perspective and an entrepreneurial spirit to the PCE WINS team. As an aspiring entrepreneur, she is excited to learn, grow, and contribute to workplace strategies that support both employees and employers.
